PETALING JAYA: Several groups have launched a Black Ribbon campaign in a bid to force Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim to vacate his seat.

Faisal Mustaffa, a spokesman for Kembalikan Selangorku campaign, told Keadilan Daily that the initiative was a way to show Khalid that he "is ignoring the voices of the people who chose the current Selangor administration during GE13."

Faisal said the campaign would be carried out until Sunday, starting with Khalid’s service centre in Port Klang and Selangor State Secretariat on Friday.

On Saturday, the campaign would be conducted at the service centre of Cempaka assemblyman Iskandar Abdul Samad, and on Sunday, at the PAS headquarters in Jalan Raja Laut.

He urged the people to wear black ribbons to pressure Khalid to return the Selangor administration to Pakatan Rakyat.
