PETALING JAYA: Universiti Malaya (UM) is the highest ranked Malaysian institution in the Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s 2014 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU).
It is ranked at 377 this year and has improved from its position of 401 to 500 in 2012 and 2013.
