A MAN applied hair-removing cream on his sister, causing her to be partially bald, when she refused to marry the man of his choice.
Santosh Kumar, 23, from Bangalore, was arrested on Monday after he forcibly put the cream on his 27-year-old sister on July 27.
Ironically, the incident came to light just days after the city celebrated Raksha Bandhan, a festival which highlights the love and bond between siblings, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Santosh Kumar had been furious when his sister Jayanti refused to marry a widower friend of his, who was a father of two children.
He was also upset with his sister for working as a bartender in Mumbai.
However, Jayanti refused to bow to his demands and told him that she would decide who she wanted to marry or where she worked.
The collision occurred when the actor was travelling in his car from Madhapur towards Shilaparamam. When the traffic light turned red, the actor’s driver stopped the car and a bus from the back crashed into their vehicle.
