Low registration for GST

KUALA LUMPUR: The number of registrants for the Goods and Services Tax (GST) among Indian entrepreneurs has remained low, at a mere 3%.

To give its effort a boost, the Secretariat for Empowerment of Indian Entrepreneurs (SEED) in the Prime Minister’s Department is turning to Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) and Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong to explain the GST move to the entrepreneurs in a seminar on Saturday.
