PETALING JAYA: Close to a month after Malaysian Airlines (MAS) flight MH17 was shot down with 298 people on board, experts have identified the remains of 16 Malaysian victims.
“The Malaysian Government has been working closely and tirelessly with the Dutch government and other countries to identify the remains of the victims of the MH17 tragedy. As a result of these efforts, 16 fellow Malaysians have been identified,” said Transport Minister Datuk Sri Liow Tiong Lai in a statement on Tuesday.
