PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airlines has contacted the next-of-kin of those on board Flight MH17 to initiate the compensation payment process.
MAS strategic communications manager Khairunnisak Dzun Nurin said the airline was also explaining contractual benefits to families of the crew, along with further goodwill payment to help with their immediate needs.
