THE discovery of a Malay burial shroud that is typically associated with pocong (a ghost popular in Indonesian and Malaysian folklore) near a cemetery has caused anxiety among Kampung Manjoi villagers in Ipoh, reported Berita Harian.
Villager Noriasha Ahmad, 56, said the shroud, filled with funeral supplies and items, was found buried in a two-metre deep hole behind her house at about 8am Wednesday.
