PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia’s strict health screening on foreign students is to ensure they do not bring diseases, such as the Ebola virus, from their home countries.
“We screen all international students before they are granted student visas. Not only do we ensure they have the qualifications to receive an education here, we also enforce strict health checks at their home country so that they do not bring diseases into our country,” said Education Minister II Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh.
