PETALING JAYA: Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim’s visit to the home of PAS spiritual adviser Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat has fuelled talk that he is seeking the leader’s blessings for his political future and strengthening his hand in his fight to thwart a plan to replace him.
It is understood that Khalid’s visit on the second day of Hari Raya was intended to convey his gratitude to Nik Aziz, who recently voiced his support for the Port Klang assemblyman to remain as Mentri Besar, mStar reported yesterday.
