PETALING JAYA: Motorists are thronging highways and expressways around the nation as they head back to the city after the long Hari Raya break.
Star Radio Traffic (@mytraffic) on their Twitter feed said heavy traffic was reported on most expressways at 5pm.
Here are some traffic updates at major highways at 5pm.
PLUS North: Congestion at Changkat Jering to Menora Tunnel stretched over 40km; Slim River to Bidor over 30km.
PLUS South: Accident at KM129 causing a 20km crawl from Senawang to Nilai. Traffic also heavy from Nilai southbound to the Seremban rest area. Use Lekas Highway as alternative routes.
KARAK: Backed up from Bukit Tinggi to the Genting Sempah rest area.
EAST COAST EXPRESSWAY: Heavy in both directions at the Jabur, Chenor and Temerloh toll plazas.
CAUSEWAY: Traffic slow in both directions.
PENANG BRIDGE: Smooth-moving in both directions.
