GRABOVO: When Pan Am Flight 103 exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988, thousands of people were mobilised to find pieces of the aircraft across the countryside.
They spent months looking for anything that remotely resembled a piece of wreckage, eventually putting together a puzzle that led to the implication of Libyan elements.
