Neglected Nilai teenager Muhammad Firdaus discharged from hospital

SEREMBAN: Muhammad Firdaus Dullah (pic), the 15-year-old cerebral palsy-stricken teenager who was found in a deplorable and malnourished condition at a low-cost flat in Nilai on June 21, was discharged from the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital (HTJ) on Thursday.

Negri Sembilan Welfare Department director Abdullah Hanapi said Firdaus was discharged at 9.40am and taken to the Magistrate's Court in Seremban to obtain a court order to be placed under the care of the state welfare department temporarily at the Taman Sinar Harapan Tuanku Ampuan Najihah, in Teming.
