Indira Gandhi case: High Court sets Friday to decide on writ compelling IGP to arrest husband, find child

IPOH: The High Court here postponed its decision if it will grant a mandamus order to kindergarten teacher M. Indira Gandhi, compelling the Inspector-General of Police to arrest her Muslim convert ex-husband and to find her six-year-old child.

Justice Lee Swee Seng set Friday to deliver his decision against the country's top cop, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, who has said he would take the middle path in cases where disputing parties had obtained conflicting orders from the Civil and Syariah courts.
