KOTA KINABALU: Malaysian security forces are in full gear to face any eventuality in the wake of talk that Filipino gunmen are gathering in an island in the southern Philippines, says Eastern Sabah Security Com­mand (Esscom) chief Datuk Abdul Rashid Harun.

However, he dismissed claims that several groups of gunmen were planning to attack Sabah’s east coast.
