PETALING JAYA: Buses will be checked, drivers subjected to urine tests and 1,800 officers will be on patrol as the Road Transport Department (JPJ) steps up on enforcement measures with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri road rush expected less than two weeks away.
JPJ director-general Datuk Ismail Ahmad said 1,800 of his officers will be on patrol from July 21 to Aug 5.
