PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has dismissed the appeal of two men arrested under the Special Offences (Security Measures) Act (Sosma) and ordered them to face trial over charges of promoting acts of terrorism in Syria.
Chief Justice Arifin Zakaria denied former ISA detainee Yazid Sufaat and cafeteria helper Muhammad Hilmi Hasim’s bid to strike out the case, ruling there were no defects in the charges.
