Free lodging: Some of the Malaysians working in Singapore catching up on sleep at the waiting area inside JB Sentral which is connected to the CIQ.

JOHOR BARU: The issue of Malaysians who commute daily to Singapore for work, but “live” in parts of the Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex needs immediate attention, said Johor Baru MP Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad.

He said this should not have happened in the first place if the authorities were serious about keeping the place spick and span.
