PETALING JAYA: A 24-year-old social worker has been presented with the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award by the United States Embassy in Kuala Lumpur for her efforts in helping the homeless and needy.
Mastura Mohd Rashid, a graduate from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), received the award for her work with Nasi Lemak Project (NLP), a soup kitchen she founded in 2012.
