PETALING JAYA: An online petition is calling for New Zealand's Foreign Minister to resign over his handling of the sexual assault case involving a Malaysian diplomatic aide, while legal experts fear media coverage could jeopardise a fair trial for the accused.
The petition, which has gathered more than 250 signatures since Thursday night, surfaced after the 21-year-old victim in the case called for Murray McCully to step down for his "incompetent handling of the situation".
