Air quality improves


KUALA LUMPUR: The number of areas with moderate Air Pollutant Index (API) readings throughout the country dropped from 18 on Thursday to 10 as at 9am Friday.

According to the Department of Environment (DOE) website, these areas included Kg Air Putih, Taiping (68), Seberang Jaya 2, Perai (65), Jalan Tasek, Ipoh (58), Bakar Arang, Sg Petani and Perai, Penang (57), Nilai, Negri Sembilan (55), Seri Manjung, Perak (54), SK Jalan Pegoh, Ipoh and Port Klang (52), and Kemaman, Terengganu (51).
