NRD to vet hiring of security guards

KUALA KUBU BARU: Starting Sept 1, all security firms must check with the National Registration Department, to vet the MyKad of those who apply for jobs as security guards

Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the candidates must also be present at the NRD for verification of their MyKad through the biometric system before the firms submit their applications to the ministry and the police for security screening.
