KUALA LUMPUR: Muslims in Malaysia will begin fasting on Sunday.
The Keeper of the Ruler’s Seal, Datuk Seri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad, in making the announcement, said the date for the beginning of fasting for states in the whole of Malaysia was set for Sunday, June 29, on the order of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong following the consent of the Malay Rulers.
The announcement was carried live on Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM).
