KOTA KINABALU: Efforts by certain quarters to pit Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak against his deputy Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is out of jealousy, said Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
The Umno vice-president said there were those who were envious of the party’s strength and that of the ruling Barisan Nasional, more so after the coalition’s success in the recent Teluk Intan by-election.
