BANTING: Sixty-one people have been rescued while nine bodies have been recovered following the sinking of a boat off Sungai Air Hitam here.
Selangor police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Samah Mat confirmed that 61 passengers were rescued, including 12 women and a five-year-old girl, while five bodies believed to be passengers on board the boat were found as at 5.30pm Wednesday.
