NIBONG TEBAL: The Kedah government has the right to propose to the Federal Government to build a second international airport in the area between Kulim and Sungai Petani, said Penang Federal Action Council chairman Datuk Zainal Abidin Osman.
“They can propose and it is up to the Federal Government to decide. Such an airport could revive industrial areas nearby and be a catalyst for economic activities,” he said after opening the mobile Community Transformation Centre (CTC) programme at the Dewan Perda open area in Sungai Acheh yesterday.
