RAUB: The Government has assured family members of Flight MH370 passengers and crew that the search for the aircraft will be enhanced with the help of several countries, including China and Australia.
Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said it would be made via strong bilateral ties with the countries concerned and Asean members.
“This assurance comes from the Prime Minister (Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak), China, Australia and Asean countries.
“I know that the search is not an easy task. However, the support we received from friends has raised our spirit to continue with the search,” he told reporters after attending a wedding reception hosted by Pahang state executive councillor Datuk Shahiruddin Ab Moin here yesterday.
Hishammuddin said this when asked about the Government’s action after 100 days Flight MH370 with 239 passengers, including 12 crew, had gone missing.
