GEORGE TOWN: The Penang exco member in charge of Islamic affairs has apologised to the family of Teoh Cheng Cheng, whose funeral was disrupted by the Penang Islamic Affairs Department in a dispute over her religion.
Datuk Abdul Malik Abul Kassim said the apology was in his capacity as the exco in charge and also on behalf of the department.
