KOTA KINABALU: Independent assemblyman Hiew King Cheu joined the Barisan Nasional through the MCA as it was the party which contested the seat before, said Sabah Barisan secretary Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan.
He believed that the Barisan state and national leaderships and Kota Kinabalu MCA division had accepted Hiew’s application based on this rationale.
