Focus on executing court rulings, Heng tells police

PETALING JAYA: The police should focus on executing court rulings, and not stand by the side saying they do not want to be caught in between rulings made by different courts, said Wanita MCA chairman Datuk Heng Seai Kie.

“I am disturbed that the IGP Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar is snubbing the judiciary by giving such an excuse. If this is the case, then why bother having the judiciary? It is not the IGP’s job to play adjudicator; he should implement the High Court ruling,” she said in a statement in relation to Khalid’s statement on his “proposal” on how to handle the tussles between S. Deepa and her Muslim convert ex-husband Izwan Abdullah in Negri Sembilan and kindergarten teacher M. Indira Gandhi against her Muslim convert ex-husband Muhammad Ridzuan Abdullah.
