PETALING JAYA: The Prime Minister’s defamation suit against online portal Malaysiakini over claims of corruption was not an affront to human rights, said International Islamic University Malaysia president Tan Sri Dr Rais Yatim.
“The statement by the Bar is clearly political and is against the right of an individual to appeal to the court for justice,” he said here yesterday.
