Wanita MCA: Amend laws on unilateral conversion of minors


KUALA LUMPUR: The Government must amend the laws regarding unilateral conversion of minors, says Wanita MCA.

The case between Muslim convert Izwan Abdullah, 31, and his ex-wife S. Deepa, 30, has raised questions. Wanita MCA National Chairman Datuk Heng Seai Kie said that despite having laws in place, families were still openly defying these laws.
