Ensure Bibles are returned, MCA tells Khalid

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA wants Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim to ensure the 300 copies of the Malay version of the Bible that were seized by the Selangor Islamic Affairs Department (Jais) in January are returned to the Bible Society of Malaysia (BSM).

MCA religious harmony bureau deputy chairman Ng Chok Sin said that unless these Bibles were returned, he doubted the assurance given by Khalid that the incident relating to the Jais intrusion into a Hindu wedding on Sunday would not recur.
