PETALING JAYA: The proposed fuel subsidy system by the Government which allows only qualified people to enjoy subsidised petrol and diesel will not help to curb the smuggling of diesel, said MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong.
Instead, the move would only cause more burden to the people, he added.
