Teluk Intan by-election: BN suspends polls campaigning

BANGI: Barisan Nasional has suspended campaigning for the Teluk Intan by-election following the death of Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah of Perak, said Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

“I have decided that all Barisan Nasional campaigning in Teluk Intan be suspended with scheduled events converted into special prayer sessions for the late Sultan,” he told reporters after closing the Muslim NGO Congress here yesterday.
