PETALING JAYA: Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah was elected as the new president of FA of Malaysia (FAM), Sunday.
The 55-year old crown prince of Pahang polled 27 out of 39 votes to beat Tengku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim in a two-way contest after Sultan Ahmad Shah announced his decision to step down and withdraw from the race.
