Bukit Gelugor by-election: Ministry, EC to ensure smooth proceedings

GEORGE TOWN: The Communication and Multimedia Ministry is working closely with the Election Commission (EC) to ensure that tomorrow's Bukit Gelugor parliamentary by-election runs smoothly.

Its deputy minister Datuk Seri Jailani Johari said the ministry through the Penang Information Department was always ready to assist the state EC, including making announcements to encourage voters to go out and cast their ballot on Sunday.
