GEORGE TOWN: Independent candidate for the Bukit Gelugor by-election Mohamed Nabi Bux has lashed out at PAS for not supporting his candidacy.
He said it would help the party’s plan to implement hudud in Penang if he wins.
“I’m against the double talk of PAS deputy president Mohamed Sabu and information chief Mahfuz Omar who speak of hudud when addressing a Muslim crowd but is totally silent on the issue before a multiracial crowd.
“I am fighting for (PAS hudud) implementation and yet they do not even acknowledge my effort,” he said during his walkabout at the Desa Mawar in Farlim, Air Itam, here yesterday.
