PUTRAJAYA: A no-call registry system (NCRS) to protect consumers against telemarketing spam is expected to be rolled out in the last quarter of this year.
Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek said the Government, through the Personal Data Protection Department, was studying the best practices being implemented for the system in countries such as New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.
