PETALING JAYA: Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad (PNHB) has agreed to accept the Selangor government's offer to take over Puncak Niaga Sdn Bhd (PNSB) and Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas), as part of the state's water restructuring exercise.
"Two more water concessionaires (PNSB and Syabas) have agreed to the Selangor government's takeover offer of its equities, assets and liabilities," said a joint statement issued by the Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili and Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Khalid Ibrahim.
