KUALA TERENGGANU: Barisan Nasional is set to retain its 17-seat majority in the 32-seat Terengganu state legislative assembly following the expected return of former Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said to Umno.
State assembly speaker Mohd Zubir Embong confirmed that Wednesday’s meeting between newly appointed Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman with Terengganu state Umno reps and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in Putrajaya went well.
