BALING: Three octogenarian widows of members of the Special Constable security forces — who served during the Emergency period between 1948 and 1962 — have appealed for speedier special token assistance, which they claimed they have yet to receive.
Wayah Abu Bakar, 88, Khadijah Tea, 84, and Yamek Yaakob, 88, hoped that they could receive the special token assistance under the Police Heritage Trust Fund.
