PORT DICKSON: Women make up 52.4 per cent of the labour force and 68 per cent of new intake at public higher learning institutions last year but only 3.2 percent of them are in managerial positions.
According to a Department of Statistics survey, women managers and professionals make up only 3.2 per cent and 14.8 per cent respectively of the labour force, said Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim.
