JOHOR BARU: Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) understands that there could be backlash from the Malay community following his statement that the MCA would reconsider its position in Barisan Nasional should Umno leaders vote in favour of a Private Members’ Bill by PAS which seeks to introduce hudud law in Kelantan.
The MCA deputy president said that the backlash was inevitable but that he was looking out for the Chinese community and fighting for its cause.
