BEIJING: Chinese netizens found another cause to worry about after another of their citizen was kidnapped from Sabah.

Yang Zailin, 34, from Guangzhou, was seized by foreigners from the Wonderful Terrace Fish Farm that he was managing on Pulau Baik near Lahad Datu at 2.45am Tuesday.

The incident came a month after Shanghai tourist Gao Huayun, 29, was snatched from the Singamata Reef Resort, off Semporna, together with Filipina resort worker March Dayawan, 40, on Apr 2.

"She has not returned home. It has been a month," a user commented on a post on microblogging site Weibo.

"What has happened to her? We haven't been hearing any news," another Weibo user asked.

The kidnapping of Yang sparked a slew of comments on the safety of Sabah.

Some netizens said they would not visit Malaysia following these abductions.

Others wondered why the Chinese were always targetted and urged the Chinese government to take action to rescue the victims.
