GEORGE TOWN: A Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) department director incurred a loss of more than RM21,000 after his house in Changkat Minden, Gelugor, was robbed by three armed men.
The 52-year-old victim, his wife and four children were traumatised but unharmed after being tied up early yesterday morning by the masked men, believed to be foreigners, who were wearing gloves and wielding machetes.
