PUTRAJAYA: More than 60,000 job opportunities are expected to be created by 2020 under the Government’s plans to modernise traditional sundry shops and automotive workshops.

Tukar, or the Retail Shop Trans­formation Programme, is expected to generate 51,450 jobs and contribute RM5.5bil to the gross national income (GNI), said Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumer-ism Minister Datuk Hasan Malek.
