THE Government has been urged to set up a centre for the Tamil film industry to expose Malaysian artistes to the latest technologies so that the quality of their productions will be on par with countries like India, Tamil Nesan reported.
Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, in his capacity as the Malaysian Government’s special envoy (infrastructure) to India and South Asia, said the Education Ministry should take the lead.
