GEORGE TOWN: The Local Government Fee to be imposed on all hotel guests in Penang from June 1 will also have to be paid by those staying in unlicensed and unrated hotels.
The latest visitpenang.gov.my newsletter stated that these hotels were encouraged to apply for their licences as soon as possible and that the local council would help ease the process for them to obtain their licences.
