Government never rejected hudud, says Najib

ALOR SETAR: The Federal Government has never rejected the implementation of hudud. However, there are loopholes and shortcoming that need to be addressed before the law can be implemented in Malaysia, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

“There is a vast difference between rejecting the law and not implementing it because of the law’s shortages and difficulties,” said Najib in his speech during the closing of Program Itjimak Pondok Malaysia 2014 at Dewan Seri Mentaloon, Thursday.
