KUALA LUMPUR: It is arguably the most recognisable symbol of the United States Presidency, but Air Force One does not actually refer to one particular aircraft.
Technically, Air Force One is the call sign of any United States Air Force plane carrying the President. No matter where in the world the President travels, if he flies in an Air Force jet, the plane is called Air Force One, according to the White House.
